Good afternoon,
Ms. Celia May Baldwin, Interim Chair of the Board of Trustees has asked
me to inform the campus community that she and Dr. Tom Humphries, Chair
of the Student Affairs Committee are enroute to Gallaudet and looking
forward to the opportunity to engage in discussions with the campus
community.

They will arrive late this afternoon and will meet the campus in the
Elstad Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. this evening.  At that meeting the will
make brief statements about the search for and selection of
Gallaudet’s 9th President, Dr. Jane Fernandes.  They will then take
questions from the audience.

Because they will stay on campus from this evening until after
Commencement there will be many opportunities for meetings with
different groups.

Please be sure to attend this evening’s meeting.
